It’s Fall!

That means, cool air, beautiful colors, my favorite cozy clothes… and if you are like me it also means.. headaches, itchy eyes, ear aches, scratchy throat… etc.

For awhile it just became routine that once the wind started up, I would need antibiotics for ear infections and congestion.. almost annually. Definitely puts a damper on the wonder of the season.

But, now that I have young living oils available to me… I haven’t been on antibiotics for my seasonal issues in about 4 years!!! seriously!!

Here’s how I use my favorite oils for my most useful purpose!!

Just look at this list from the Essential Oils Pocket Reference on just 3 of my favorite oils!!!


Lavendar properties include: Analgesic, anticoagulant, Anti-convulsive, antihistamine, anti-infectious, antispasmodic, anti toxic and more.

Peppermint properties include:  Analgesic, antibacterial, anti carcinogenic,

Lemon properties include: Antidepressant, antiseptic, Anti-fungal, antiviral, invigorating, refreshing and tonic.


This dynamic trio, changes everything!


First of all, I have all three of these in a roller bottle like these ones

I keep this with me all the time. Roll it behind my ears, down my neck, and on my temples. Immediately I feel all that pressure releasing!

Recipe: I usually do about 8-10 drops of each in roller bottle, then top it with a carrier oil. My favorite is Grape seed oil, but you can use, coconut, olive, really any oil you prefer.

Next, because Young Living has the Vitality line, (Meaning the FDA has rated it GRAS, Generally Regarded As Safe for human consumption)  that are safe for ingestion, I like to add a drop of peppermint to my coffee (and lemon to my water too)   Seasonal relief without medication

Then, I have these little veggie capsules,

I fill these with the trio vitality line, and top off with a carrier oil like Grape seed oil. Take these up to 3 times a day ( on those ruff weather days) but. mostly I just try to take one every morning to brace against the symptoms.



And that has helped me fight against these bothersome seasonal sypmtoms.

    I love lavender and and peppermint. I’ve never used lemon. Will be looking more into it. Thanks for this very informative post x
