  1. Place the mixing bowl into the fridge to chill for a few minutes. (anywhere from 10-20 minutes) Then pour in the cold heavy whipping cream and start to beat with your stand or hand mixer. add in the vanilla and powdered sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. watch this closely. the fat will separate if it is beating too long. and it’s actually how you make butter!

This whipped cream will last in the fridge, in an air tight container for a few days.
